A couple of weeks ago, I was working on a project for students at Butler University. As you may or may not know, my ultimate dream is to work with first year teachers on setting up and organizing their classrooms. I had no idea where to even start with marketing to that very specific demographic, so I thought I would start with my wonderful alma mater. I reached out to a couple of my former professors to see if they would be willing to pass on my information to their current student teachers with the hope that at least one of them would be interested in my services. After receiving their blessing, I decided to make three different organizing packages as options for anyone interested to choose. I won't go into the specifics with the packages (unless you or someone you know may be interested, then please contact me because I would LOVE to help!), but I was trying to think of a way for the students' families to offer it as a graduation gift. I am fully aware that graduating seniors might not have the funds necessary to pay for my services, but I am thinking it would make for a *perfect* gift. I know I would have loved it! As I was thinking about different options, my best friend suggested offering gift certificates. Genius, right?! I have no idea why I didn't think of that. So... all that being said, I am now excited to offer gift certificates for any organizing services!
